Coahoma County Hazard Mitigation Plan 2022-2027
Hazard mitigation planning reduces loss of life and property by minimizing the impact of disasters. The Coahoma County Emergency Management Agency encourages citizens to evaluate the Coahoma County five-year Hazard Mitigation Plan (2022-2027).

PROJECT FUNDING ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Coahoma County Emergency Management would like to thank and acknowledge the Department of Transportation and Mississippi Emergency Management for the funding of this Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant. The objective of the funding is to encourage a partnership with local government and industries to form a resource for enhancing hazardous material preparedness as part of the Coahoma County Emergency Management’s Public Outreach and Education for Emergency Preparedness Initiative. The grant will be used to provide support and leadership across the county in fostering emergency preparedness, response and training to the citizens.
